Surprise About Dumbledore Revealed
During a question-and-answer session at Carnegie Hall on 19 October, a fan asked Rolwing if Dumbledore ever found "true love," to which Rowling replied that Dumbledore was gay. This news was greeted with gasps and applause. She mentioned his relationship with Grindelwald, adding that Dumbledore was "horribly, terribly let down." While the revelation was heralded with open acceptance from most fans, groups which have traditionaly denounnced the Potter series have now one more accusation against it. Everything Released
With all the activity this summer, I've gotten behind on the news - but as you all know, the Deathly Hallows has been released, topping bestseller lists everywhere. Unofficial online translations continue to be a problem in countries where the book has not yet been released. The Order of the Phoenix movie has also made its way to the theatres and has brought another side of the Potter world to audiences everywhere.
New Trailers!
Good news: an international trailer and the U.S. domestic trailer have been released. Both outline the basic plot and are packed with action and explosions. You can view them on YouTube by typing in "Order of the Phoenix Trailer."
Release Date!
Another important announcement has been made: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released on 21 July 2007!
Title of Book Seven!!!
Well, fans, the secret door opened again, and JK Rowling has revealed that the title of book seven is (drumroll, please...) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Phoenix Trailer
On 10 October, Warner Brothers announced that the very first showings of OotP trailer will premeire on 17th November, before the showings of "Happy Feet."
