Alleged Identity of R.A.B.

Treat the following claim with extreme caution. Isabel Nunes, who is responsible for the Portugese translations of the Potter books, apparently asked JK Rowling for the gender and identity of R.A.B. Without further ado, JKR allegedly gave the identity as Regulus Archtures Black.

Prepare to be angered, loyal fans. An article from the daily web magazine, Slate, has resurfaced, charging Harry as "a glory hog who unfairly receives credit for the accomplishments of others and who skates through school by taking advantage of his inherited wealth and his establishment connections." Slander or satire? You decide.

More Movie Magic

Newsweek recently released an article about Order of the Phoenix, and along with it came three more photos! There is a great picture of Dumbledore's Army, another of Umbridge's lurid pink office, and a picture of the trio. While these pictures are low-resolution, Warner Brothers has decided to officially release some hi-res shortly.

First "Order" Movie Stills!

After hasseling fans to take the home-video clips of the trio filming at King's Cross in London, Warner Brothers has released the first pictures from Order of the Phoenix. The first depicts Harry fighting off dementors at Privet Drive, while the second shows Imaulda Stanton as Umbridge standing beside Professor McGonagall (Maggie Smith) and Sybil Trelawny (Emma Thompson) with Filch (David Bradley) in the background.

EXTREME RUMOR: Possible Title for Book 7

Two Potter-related titles were secretly registered as trademarks at the patent office on the release date of HBP last year: "Harry Potter and the Parseltongue Trophy" and "Harry Potter and the Great Revelation." A source at the patent office said that future titles are patented to avoid anyone from taking them before publication. However, we have no confirmation on these titles as of yet, and this conflicts with JK Rowling's statement at the interview at Radio City Music Hall in August that she recently schanged the title of book seven. Therefore, treat this rumor with extreme caution.

HBP Error Caught By Observant Fans

JK Rowling and the publishers of HBP have corrected an error caught by diligent fans. In the sixth book, Hermione recieved ten "Outstanding" and one "Exceeds Exceptions" on her O.W.L.'s when in the fifth book, she only took ten subjects. The publishers have now corrected this to nine "Outstanding" and one "Exceeds Exceptions."

Pope's Exorcist Calls Harry Potter "The Devil"

Rev. Gabriele Amorth, Pope Benedict Arnold XVI's chief exorcist, recently made the statement concerning Harry during an interview with Vatican Radio. . He called Harry "king of darkness, the devil," and said that "Magic is always a turn to the devil." Amorth, who has allegedly performed 30,000 exorcisms, also compared the Potter characters to Hitler, saying they were possesed by the devil. "You can tell by their behavior and their actions, from the horrors they committed and the atrocities that were committed on their orders. That's why we need to defend society from demons," said Amorth.
